In contrast to the regular stand-up pouch, the Revolutionized s-pouch gives a new look and unlimited added value to the product packaging of today and the future

Regular stand-up pouches consist of two flat sheets sealed together along their sides, with a "W" fold running along the bottom. When the pouch is filled, the "W" opens and provides a base on which the pouch can stand. The regular stand-up pouches have the top being sealed straight across, consequently this causes the lower base to stretch upwards, whereby the entire bottom seal cannot touch the surface it standing on. The S-Pouch, in contrast, has a tabular shape, due to the similar top and bottom gusset, making the two flat vertical panels of the pouch resting fully on the surface, resulting in a perfect stand-up position.

The standard stand-up pouch consists of two flat sheets sealed together along their sides, with a "W" fold (called a gusset) running along the bottom. By running a similar gusset along the top of the pouch extra filling capacity (volume) is added to the pouch. In other words for the same filling capacity the S-Pouch is smaller, reduces film material, and allows for up to 95% filling in comparison with the standard stand-up pouch, which has its un-used air space in the top of the pouch. td>

	Adding extra space due to the upper gusset of the s-pouch, a spout can be located other than on the surfaces for printing, allowing for larger spout dimensions and a larger variety than ever has been seen with stand-up pouches. The bigger size of s-pouch the wider extra space added, therefore the bigger dimension of spout can be sealed.

	In contrast to the triangular shape the tubular shape of the s-pouch allows for filling to nearly full capacity, resulting in the s-pouch holding more liquid compared to the same pouch size of the regular stand-up pouch, or using less material compared to a stand-up pouch with the same volume.

	The tubular shape of the s-pouch and the location of spout in the upper gusset, gives the appearance and functionality of a plastic bottle, therefore a wide range of products can be filled with the s-pouch. To easily pour a product from the plastic pouch-bottle, a wide variation or custom designed of spouts, fitments and dispensers are available.
